First selection in the Nations Cup for Caroline Godin & Querida!

On July 13 and 14, Caroline Godin, Training Manager at La Cense, and her mare Querida participated in a Nations Cup for the first time, during the CDIO 4* in Falsterbo in Sweden. Together, they achieved the best French mark in the Grand Prix.

Congratulations to both of them!

Ethological riding and the La Cense Method, real assets for competition

To achieve this level and these results, Caroline Godin and Querida have of course left nothing to chance. Ethological riding is, in essence, an approach that respects the horse. The La Cense Method favors communication and understanding the nature of the horse. It is a major asset in competition, used by more and more high-level riders, for several reasons:

  • Horse well-being : By putting the physical and mental well-being of the horse at the heart of its approach, the La Cense Method allows the horse to fully express its nature, its intelligence, and its potential as an athlete

  • Better Communication : Competition requires an attentive, motivated and responsive horse. The La Cense Method gives the keys to fluid communication and an optimal connection with the horse. By breaking down each complex objective into simple and interesting exercises, you make learning easy and motivating for the horse. Finally, by recombining these exercises, you successfully achieve your goals

  • Mutual trust : The most important thing in horse education is to build a relationship of trust, based on the horse's understanding and motivation. If the dialogue is fluid, the confidence is there, and his motivation is at maximum, the horse will perform better, whatever your discipline.

  • Stress Reduction : Competitions can be stressful for horses (environment, crowd, music, etc.). The La Cense Method helps reduce this stress by gradually accustoming the horse to different situations, and allowing him to learn that when he encounters new environments, he can manage the situation by thinking instead of reacting by fleeing.
