International Training

This 23-month international training course is intended for riders whose plan is to become a professional in the horse industry, specializing in ethological riding and young horses.

Prerequisites

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have Gallop 6
  • Hold PSC 1
  • Have the B license

Training content

For its international training, La Cense has chosen the path to excellence by offering a unique program: in 23 months, you prepare 4 diplomas (AE, BPJEPS, BFE EE 1 and 2):

  • Horse Riding Instructor (AE)
    The Horse Riding Instructor allows you to initiate equestrian activities under the educational authority of a holder of a Level IV diploma or higher in equestrian activities.
  • Professional Certificate in Youth, Popular Education and Sport (BPJEPS)
    This State Diploma gives the right to teach horse riding for remuneration.
  • Federal Certificate of Ethological Horse Riding Supervision level 1 (BFE EE 1)
    This federal certificate validates your skills as a teacher in ethological horse riding, on foot, and allows you to pass on and validate ethological knowledge 1 and 2 to your students.
  • Federal Certificate of Ethological Horse Riding Supervision level 2
    This federal certificate validates your skills as a teacher in ethological riding, on foot and on horseback, and allows you to pass on and validate ethological knowledge 3 to 5 to your students.

In immersion in the world of horses, in the heart of La Cense, you follow intensive horse riding practice, online theoretical courses, advanced training in pedagogy and teaching of the La Cense method.

At the end of the course, after having obtained all the diplomas, you leave 2,5 months in Montana (Dillon, MT, USA). You live at the heart of the American horse world, you specialize in the education of young horses, you practice Horsemen's English and discover another culture.

Pratical information

1st YEAR

September to July
AE and BFE EE I preparation.
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at La Cense.
Wednesday and school holidays (every other week) in the tutor center.
Saturday and Sunday at the equestrian activities of Barn Hotel (every other weekend)

2th YEAR

September to mid-May
BPJEPS and BFE EE II preparation.
Tuesday to Friday at La Cense.
Saturdays and school holidays in the tutor center.

Mid-May to August       
Specialization in cleaning in Montana (Dillon, MT, USA). .

The cost of the training is €2 upon registration (including €200 including the La Cense Method, a basic set and the La Cense uniform) then €782/month over 23 months.

This amount includes collective accommodation in France for the first year of training, and in Montana. This amount does not include transportation to Montana.
