Our team
Educational team
The La Cense team supports all your equestrian, sports and leisure projects. Its expertise is based on experienced, state-certified rider-teachers. As well as common technical and educational training:
the La Cense Method. During their professional career, each has developed their own expertise. Versatile, each teacher takes part in all of the structure's activities: horse education, courses, professional training, stables.
Manuel Godin
Technical Director – BEES 2 and BFE EE 3
Landais and proud of it, it's the only thing that the reserved horseman concedes when talking about himself. It's a bit of a hasty journey as a horse riding teacher and eventing rider, which marks his professional debut. Forget the training leave used to join the Ecole la Cense for 2 years, before working there and obtaining your BEES 2, under the watchful eye of Francis Rebel. Not to mention carrying out an activity as a professional show jumping rider, on his own, for 3 years. Technical director of Cense, he is in charge of supervising the equestrian structure, the teaching team and sports development. He shares with La Cense an open mind and a keen sense of quality.
Caroline Godin
Responsible for training and the team of owners – DESJEPS and BFE EE 2
Born in Chesnay, like Kevin Staut. This joke says a lot about this competitive and humorous rider. In an equestrian center, in training in an eventing stable, then in training at the Ecole la Cense, Caroline developed an in-depth knowledge of horses, which she puts to the service of efficient riding. With her teaching diplomas in hand, she began her riding career at the Haras de Hus. Back at La Cense, she teaches and educates horses at home as well as in competition. A self-employed professional rider, she excels in dressage events and supervises students in the 3 Olympic disciplines. Caroline is responsible for the stable of owners. His riding illustrates the values of La Cense; his determination gives each student a taste for progress, while respecting the horse.

Although originally from Brittany, Nathalie flew to Reunion when she was two years old. She discovered horse riding there at the age of 12, and the virus took hold immediately! Charlene Marcq
Responsible for management and development of courses, walks and customer relations
A purebred Ile-de-France resident, Charlène rode a pony for the first time at 6 years old. An occasional rider during the beginning of her schooling, she did not give up and resumed club riding at the end of college. It was therefore natural that she undertook a degree in Marketing of equine products in Saumur, during which she completed an internship at Equiressources. In 2016, she brilliantly obtained a Master 2 in Tourism and Sports Leisure. After an internship in Canada and several experiences in companies and leisure islands in the region, the nostalgia of volunteering during the World Equestrian Games won over her... She then returned to horses and joined the Haras team in April 2022! Calm and caring, Charlène welcomes and informs clients about courses, walks and accommodation. At the same time, she masterfully runs the store on site and online. If she's not preparing your orders, she'll probably be the one answering the phone. A question ? Push the reception door and you will find it (in French, English or Español!).
Aimie Meron
Training Manager
It was at the age of 11 that Aimie started riding and only 4 years later that she met her equine partner Enjoy, when he was still just a foal. A fan of so-called ethological methods, she undertakes her cleaning with the help of the La Cense Method. After her baccalaureate, she began university studies in Applied Foreign Languages English/German, which she finally exchanged for a license in Marketing of equine products in Saumur. In 2020, while the covid pandemic raged, she defied the travel ban* and joined the Haras team for a 6-month internship... and never left! Today, she is administrative manager of all La Cense training courses. Qualiopi certification, invoicing, certificates, diplomas or even financing, no facet can resist it! She guides future candidates and supports students in their efforts gently and efficiently. If you come across a Fjord during a visit to the stud farm, Aimie is not very far!
*just kidding, it was allowed at that time
Team speakers
Finally, La Cense surrounds itself with professionals recognized for their technical, educational or scientific expertise. Throughout the year, they participate in training courses and internships. True partners of the La Cense team, the speakers participate in the collective dynamic, by sharing their skills and experience.
Ludovic d'Hautefeuille
Speaker BPJEPS and BFE EE 3
It was as part of his training as an agricultural engineer that Ludovic completed his first 6-month internship on Pat Parelli's ranch in Colorado. Definitively acquired in Natural horsemanship, he joined the first promotion of the Ecole la Cense. Once graduated, he began his professional career by supervising internships and training at La Cense and throughout France. He completed his riding teaching diploma and gained experience, in a trotting stable, at La Cense as well as on his own. In particular, he developed expertise in working on foot, with long reins. His pursuit of excellence and his thirst for knowledge arouse the respect and admiration of his peers. Ludovic puts his pedagogy and technique at the service of Cense during modular training.
Ronia Demoulin
BPJEPS and BFE EE 2 teacher
Practically born under a horse, it was in the Champagne region that Ronia grew up, surrounded by all kinds of animals: horses, donkeys, ponies, dogs, cats, chickens, bees... She has the virus in her Genoa. Sharing a passion for horseback riding with his mother and sister, long distances, hours on horseback and camping have been part of his life since childhood. Already very young, she learned to live “with her ears and eyes wide open” and quickly became eager for experiences and discoveries.
After her Bac L in a Franco-German course, she undertook studies in tourism management and international marketing, firmly determined to keep horses as her passion. Alongside her studies, she joined the TREC French Young Riders Team in 2012 and continued her sporting career until 2014.
She then joined the CRTE of Champagne Ardenne then the CDT of Aisne for tourism development projects.
At 24, however, she decided that it was not enough. Confucius stuck in his head: “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
She likes to transmit, share, learn and act. She loves nature, aspires to a life outside, close to nature and animals, especially horses.
Ronia entered equestrian tourism training at La Cense in 2017 and obtained her ATE as well as her BFE EE 1. She decided to take her BPJEPS at the CEZ in Rambouillet immediately, encouraged by the professionals who crossed her path. She then set up to teach as a freelancer and offer horseback riding tours in Champagne.
It was in November 2018 that she seized a new opportunity: joining the La Cense team. Lively and sparkling, she shares and transmits with enthusiasm and a broad smile what life has taught her.
Edouard Lepoutère
Speaker BPJEPS and BFE EE 2
It was during an introduction to school at the age of 6 that Edouard discovered a passion for horses. After an agricultural baccalaureate and a technical-commercial BTS in the agri-food industry, he decided to turn to ethological horse riding. He therefore began training at La Cense in 2004, where he obtained his BFEE II and traveled between France and Montana until 2006. Once the BPJEPS was completed, Edouard worked in schools offering training around the equine world, and teaches independently. At the same time, in 2013, he set up his equestrian equipment and equipment company, EKEEP.
Fabien Rigaud
Speaker BEES1 and BFE EE 2
Alongside scientific studies in Animal Biology/Ecology and then Regional Planning, Fabien continued his training as a rider and obtained a diploma in horse breeding as well as that of ATE. He chose to definitively follow this professional path by completing his tutorship. The desire to broaden his equestrian skills and his interest in the sciences of animal behavior and learning naturally guided him towards continuing education at the Haras de La Cense where he obtained the BFEE 2. Convinced of the contribution of the La Method Focused on the education of horses and riders, he integrates it into the exercise of his activity as a rider – independent teacher. He has been involved in supervising internships for several years, in collaboration with the La Cense team.
Marine Herbelot
Speaker BPJEPS and BFE EE 2
Surrounded by goats during her childhood, Marine was destined for a life of adventure. She became a rider at the age of 5. After a Bac ES in her pocket, she studied at the faculty. Passionate about animals and particularly horses, she enrolled in Animal Health Auxiliary (ASA) training in 2010. She embarked on the Equestrian Tourism Guide (ATE) training in Corsica, where she obtained the diploma in 2012. At 25, Marine is only just beginning her journey, she is thirsty for adventure. She flew to Reunion, where she lived for more than 2 years and accompanied horseback riding. Returning to mainland France in 2015, she became Equestrian Tourism Manager in the Var. It was finally in September 2015 that she joined the La Cense International Training. She continued her momentum by validating her BPJEPS and her BFE EE 2017 in 2. Having become a true horsewoman, she first joined the Haras team in October 2017, as a teacher. Passionate about nature and equestrian excursions on horseback or in carriages, Marine leaves a lasting impression with her dynamism, her outspokenness and her unparalleled humor! Now an independent teacher, she participates in supervising internships and training in collaboration with the La Cense team.
Logistics team
The La Cense team is also men and women who help maintain and beautify the premises for the well-being of horses and riders.
Julien Caron
Grassland and field logistics manager
Originally from Val de Marne, Julien discovered horse riding at the age of 14. Not that easy ? A handyman, incredibly versatile and a nature lover, he began training as a work-study landscaper in a golf course, where he was hired and worked for 3 years. Horses and the agricultural world remain in Julien's head, a project that he manages to bring to fruition. A nurseryman friend, from whom he humbly prides himself on having learned everything, recommended him to a green space service company. As fate would have it, he was assigned to La Cense, as responsible for maintaining pastures and gardening. 9 years later, he joined the stud team in June 2017, as head of grassland and field logistics. Pragmatic, resourceful like no other, funny when he lets his voice carry further than his collar, Julien allows the horses at the Haras to benefit from magnificent pastures, from fences to racks, including shelters... In short, Julien knows everything repair, drive everything and adapt to the team's craziest requests and emergencies!
