For over thirty years, Yann Arthus-Bertrand has photographed the French and those who live in France, inviting them to wear their work or everyday clothes, in the company of their loved ones. In 2023, with the collaboration of Hervé Le Bras, this work was enriched by a historical and demographic dimension inspired by censuses and major surveys, giving full scope to this photographic panorama. For more than two years, a mobile photo studio crisscrossed France, traveling through cities, countryside, and beyond.
