MAXIMIZE YOUR HORSE’S WELL-BEING

Are you the owner or future owner of horses, would you like to check your practices and/or validate the essential knowledge to manage your equine on a daily basis while maximizing its well-being?

Confirm your skills by training at Cense for a day! In addition to providing you with the essential basics for the daily maintenance of your horse (feeding, care, ethology, handling on foot, etc.), this training allows you to validate module B of the FFE Equine Holder Capacity.

Prerequisites

  • If you wish to validate module B at the end of this training, it is recommended to have already validated module A (theory on the FFE Campus), and essential to be at least registered for it.
  • You must also have an up-to-date FFE license.

Program

9:00 a.m.: Reception of participants at the club house

Presentation of each participant: background, experience, expectations of the training
Presentation of the trainer and the company

9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.: Time in the room

Reminder of the knowledge acquired in module A of the training
Deepening ethological knowledge
Principles of horse education

10:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Practical situation

Food, maintenance of the structure and practice areas
Checking the condition of the horse's feet, body condition and health
Daily care: cleaning a wound, taking the temperature, showering, preparation for deworming or oral medication administration.

12:00 p.m.: Demonstration on the theme of horse education and handling on foot

12:30-14:00 p.m.: Lunch with the instructor

14:00 a.m.-16:00 p.m.: Practical situation

Approach the horse safely
Putting on and taking off the halter
Daily handling (grooming, holding feet, leading, etc.)
Boarding by van/truck

16:00 a.m.-17:00 a.m.: Time in the room
