    Are you passionate about animals and nature? Come for an authentic moment, where you approach the horses in freedom and discover their way of life, in complete safety. You evolve, in the heart of the stud farm, among the grasslands and horses. A scientific advisor shares his knowledge of horse behavior with you.

    During this course, you will not handle horses.

    Program

    Theoretical introduction : what ethology teaches us about horses.

    Observation of horses in freedom : in a group of 2 people, you note the different behaviors of the horses and note the interactions between the members of the herd.

    Understanding horse behavior : you analyze the attitudes of horses, during practical situations. You identify the hierarchy within the herd and observe the modes of communication following the integration of a new horse into the group.

    Duration : 1 day, from 9 a.m. to 17 p.m.

    For the rider:

    • How to dress ? Riding clothing is not required for this course. Dress in pants, closed shoes and a seasonal top.
    • Where to eat ? Lunch is included. La Cense also provides you with a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee machine and snack dispenser.
    • Where to sleep ? You have the option of staying at the Barn Hotel, located in the heart of the Haras de la Cense. The hotel also offers dormitory accommodation for 6 people, from 380 euros including tax per night, breakfast included. Information and reservation by telephone on 01 86 38 00 00.
    • Where to shop? The La Cense boutique offers a choice of equestrian equipment adapted to the technical requirements of the La Cense Method. You will also find a varied range of equestrian books to perfect your knowledge of horses. The store is open Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 18 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 17 p.m.
