The animal factory

Livestock farming is evolving and becoming industrialized. Some even mention the “animal factory”, a current subject which raises ethical, legal, ecological and economic questions as well as public health… Produced by the photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, considered one of the pioneers of commitment to the environment, the portraits of animals and breeders brought together in this work open up a reflection on the issues of contemporary breeding and on our position as consumers.

Completed with the opinion of experts on the theme of the economy of animals, this photographic panorama is part of the heritage of Faber Art, which brings together works of art on the theme of economic worlds,
and inaugurates the “Cahiers de l’Art faber” collection dedicated to its contemporary expressions.
