Become an active participant in equine welfare by developing your scientific knowledge about horses.
Through a training program combining online courses and practical exercises, you will learn to analyze and apply the latest knowledge in ethology and equine science.
This training is aimed at all people with an educational project and:
Over a 7 month course, you will develop your knowledge of behavior, habitat, nutrition, health and education, and optimize the management of your horses while respecting their well-being.
Thus, by being made aware of the scientific approach , you learn to define the nature of a source, scientific or not, and to popularize scientific knowledge about equine ethology.
During the training, you develop the following skills:

Duration : 7 and a half months, from October 12th to May 31st
Total hours : 70 hours (56 hours online, 14 hours in person)
Location : online + 2 practical days at Haras de la Cense (mid-May)
Cost : €1,700. Payment in 1 or 3 installments possible.

Practical days at the Haras de la Cense:
Spend two days at the Haras de la Cense with an ethologist and an agricultural engineer specializing in equine nutrition. The practical work will cover the following topics:
Assessment methods:
You are assessed through continuous monitoring (quizzes and practical days).
The “Ethology and Equine Sciences” diploma is awarded to learners who have obtained more than 70% correct answers to the quizzes, and who have validated their attendance at the stud farm’s practical days.
